I found it somewhat necessary to make an about page, so here it is. At Portland State University, every freshman is required to take an inquiry course, which teaches students critical thinking, communication, diversity, and ethics through different themes. For fall, winter, and spring terms of 2013-2014, I took "Portland" as the theme.

 

I grew up in the just outside of Portland, somewhere between the Willamette River and Kansas. I like comic books and pop music. My idols are The Doctor and Taeyang. When I grow up I want to be the president of Mars. However, I am currently slaving away as a biology major.

 

I have no idea who the man pictured is, I just thought it was funny to have him as a placeholder image.
